Shelley Shane

Born and raised in the heart of South Texas into a family of musicians and vocal performers, Shelley Shane has never known a time when she didn’t feel the undeniable call of God on her life. Her father, an aspiring country music artist turned Assembly of God pastor, and her mother, a talented vocalist, were among the first to recognize the supernatural giftings upon her life and encourage her to use them for the glory of God.

Shelley sang her first solo in a small non-denominational church when she was only 8 years old. At the age of 11, she picked up the trumpet, and for the next 8 years, performed as a soloist and as a member of many different groups winning multiple awards at the local, regional, and state levels. In addition to the trumpet, Shelley was also involved in her junior high and high school choirs where she also achieved great success.

In 1995, Shelley graduated from Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Texas, having received a strong foundational training in multiple aspects of ministry. Although not fully understood at the time, it was this training that would provide a springboard for the future plans and purposes that God had in store.

In 1998, Shelley joined Cornerstone Church, in Liberty, Texas, where she became acquainted with Rev. Del Mar and The Vision Ministry. In 2001, after serving faithfully for 3 years in the youth & music ministry of Cornerstone, Shelley joined The Vision Ministry in an administrative capacity, and within 3 years began functioning as a background vocalist. Through this opportunity she has been blessed to be able to realize one of her life-long dreams when recording their latest project, Out of Egypt. Shelley has also served on the Board of Directors of The Vision Ministry since 2004.

Shelley Shane currently resides in Dayton, Texas, and works full time as a Community Liaison for a national home health care and hospice organization. In her spare time, she enjoys graphic/web design, writing music, learning the piano, and spending time with family and friends.
